The story
For its multi-annual RFP, FUJIFILM Medical Systems USA invited Derse to be one of three exhibit companies to compete. As an Experiential Marketing Creative Lead, I was tasked with identifying a story to inspire both our architectural concepts and the luxury sales presentation, to be delivers on-site at the client’s headquarters.
Several days of research led me to an obscure concept within FUJIFILM documents that, I believed, actually embodied the heart of the FUJIFILM brand. The whole team got behind the concept. Several months later, later, we won the bid—worth multiple millions of dollars USD. A senior manager who attended the pitch attested that my storytelling and writing were highlighted by the client as a key reason for our success.
Additionally, I designed, creative directed and co-produced an augmented reality interactive for the event that educated medical professionals on FUJIFILM’s new photographic plates for medical devices.
The results
My agency won a multi-million dollar account worth multiple shows, delivered a novel architectural experience that led to the client’s longest show dwell times ever, plus retained a substantial augmented reality project that drove qualified leads at FUJIFILM’s largest exhibitions that year.
